9 - 12 Day Basic Licence Course

R19 500

9-12 Day Basic Licence Course

At the end of the introductory course, you can choose to continue immediately with the rest of the 9-12 day Basic Licence course.  All your flights and Introductory course fees will be credited towards your basic license course fees.

Awesome – you’ve made the decision to get your basic licence and you are en-route to becoming a SAHPA certified paraglider pilot. The basic licence is the minimum requirement to legally (SACAA) fly without supervision or instruction at all the basic-rated flying sites in South Africa and the rest of the world. This thorough and intensive course is designed to give you the basic building blocks on which to develop and enhance your paragliding skills after the Intro Course. Training in a safe environment (Wilderness, Kleinkrantz and Sedgefield) with a manageable progression – from ground handling, dune hopping and ground skimming to taking flights from higher take-off sites – is the best way to learn and improve your confidence and skill as a pilot.

This is all done under close supervision of our professional SAHPA certified & licenced instructors and designed to provide maximum fun while you start your journey as a pilot in this exciting sport.
